RARE!! 3" Barrel Smith & Wesson Model 640 .38 Cal in pristine condition

When my stepfather passed away in 1993, my mother found herself alone. She then went out and bought this revolver for personal protection. I believe she shot it once when she purchased it. It then went into a safe and has not seen the light of day for over 30 years.

What makes it rare is the 3-inch barrel. There are lots of model 640s with 2 inch barrels but you are not likely to find one with a 3 inch barrel. It's my understanding that S&W only made these from 1989 to 1993.
