For Sale is an excellent Colt AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine 5.56 16". This gun was made in the late 2000's, within a few years of the sunset of the 1994 Assault Weapons ban. During this period, these Colt AR's were extremely difficult to come by. I worked for the largest retail gun store in the state during this period and we were only getting four or five of these a year! This gun is early enough to still have the desirable and collectible Restricted Military, Government, Law Enforcement, and Expert Only marking on the right side of the receiver. The gun features an A3 flat top upper and a barrel with the 1/9 twist, optimal for 55gr bullets. This gun also features a number of period upgrades, including a magpul butt stock, surefire quad rail, Aimpoint Comp M in LaRue mount, and GG&G flip up rear sight. The gun also includes an early Blackhawk sling, which isn't particularly well suited for this butt stock and handguard, but it was with the gun, so I am including it.
