Description
This is a Barrett Firearms model MRAD (Multi-Role Adaptive Design) bolt action sniper rifle that is chambered in .338 Lapua.
This rifle has a field-changeable barrel/caliber capability.
This rifle is in like new condition. It has a heavy tapered 26 inch fluted threaded barrel.
It has a 1:10 inch twist and a two-port muzzle brake.
The bore is in perfect condition….fired VERY LITTLE by all indications.
The flat dark earth Cerakote finish has no visible signs of wear and is in excellent condition.
The action works perfectly based on visual inspection.
The trigger module is easily accessed for maintenance, adjustment, and replacement.
This match grade trigger is drop fire proof and combat ready.
The 2-position thumb safety can be configured for left or right hand operation.
The paddle-style magazine release is ambidextrous. It has a mMAGPUL textured black polymer hand grip with a storage compartment.
The full-length Picatinny top rail is 10 Mils and is 23 inches in length for mounting the optics and accessories.
There are mounting slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. A 3.5 inch rail is currently affixed at the 6 o'clock position.
The overall length of the rifle is 46.75 inches.
The stock has an adjustable cheek piece for height adjustment.
It also has an adjustable black recoil pad which allows the user to adjust the length of pull to five different positions.
The stock has multi-positional quick-detach sling sockets.
The folding stock allows the rifle to be transported easily, and it reduces the total length to just 38.5 inches.
The stock latches around the bolt handle increasing the safety when transporting it without increasing the width when it is unfolded.
This rifle comes with a very nice 4-latch hard black polymer Pelican 1750 case with extra room for accessories.
The case has a lifetime warranty, has an automatic equalization valve, and a waterproof o-ring seal.
1 carry heavy duty handle is on the side of the case with another one on the top of the case.
Another nice feature of the case are the 2 heavy duty ball bearing wheels wih the option of rolling the case instead of carrying it.
It comes with TWO mags….
