I have this old Marlin model 60 that I have owned for 45 yrs it has a little squirrel in the stock from the factory and a older weaver scope mounted, at 50 yards this 22LR will hold its own against my Bruno mod1 my CZ heavy target and even my anschutz just extremely accurate,so imagine the surprise I got when I picked up another one on a trade, the older gentleman said he had owned the rifle since new and had to mount a new scope on it because of his older vision but that this rifle is very accurate; I recently took this rifle to the range to see if it was anything like my old one, at 50 yards with just old Federal standard velocity ammo the rifle put 28 rounds in the size of a golf ball just at 12 O:Clock touching the bullseye, that’s two magazine load ups of 14 rounds, rifle performed perfect no problems; I’m old now so a shooter could, and would have done better for sure, rifle still is in great condition been very well taken care of and has a new 3-9x40 Weaver scope with a great solid mount ——-$325—— 210-305-6450
