Areo Precision 5.56 16” carbine, enhanced as shown here: This AR features Aero’s cool M4E1 components which give a billet look, but are actually forged for better strength. Great looking and hardworking Fortis Night Rail, with 4 QD points, and a really trick barrel nut assembly one could use for a jack-stand. It’s really strong, and to us, compliments the overall look of the Aero. Also added a Fortis brake – they call Fortis Red – duhh? All we know is it’s a great brake! While we are mentioning Fortis, they have a new charging handle called the “hammer.” Well who could resist that? They come in grey, and nickelene, which you see added here. It’s easy to grab and to us trick looking. Whatever we aim at, we want to hammer – so it fits. Now all this is nice, but it’s the internals is where you make your living with a combat weapon. With that in mind we upgraded the BCG to a Lantac full auto style. That means you won’t ever wear it out!! The engagement roller of the cam pin is of the newer generation style, being round rather than square. That means it flows with the action, rather than banging square corners during cycling. It is nickel boron, which adds to the smoothness. It rocks. Read about it on Lantac’s site. Internal parts are, of course, Aero’s own. Except the trigger – oh, yes! Larue Tactical! If you don’t know them, they are from the Austin area and known worldwide for performance. It’s their MBT 2S trigger, and it’s great. The other thing we added from LaRue is the “RISR” on top of the CTR stock. It places the eye exactly where it needs to be to use the red-dot, which by the way comes with a really bright green laser also. Running down here, the end plate comes with a QD attachment, for a single point sling. This Aero has had a total of four 30 round magazines through it, and by the way it will come with one. If you want a photo of something I missed, just text or email. Trades? It would have to be something special. Plus, trading does not mean one side gets beat up! LOL.
