Does shooting it hurt? Yes, it hurts very good. Unfortunately, I'm moving, and carrying this cannon around in another state would not be as acceptable as it is here. Perfect condition, sub-50 roundcount, great shooter, will drop a charging boar faster than Kamala dropped her pants for Willie Brown, and all for ~$300 less than what you'll find in the store.

And yes, it is a newer model. I know, I know, it comes with a 20+ year old safety feature you'll never use, but look on the bright side: unlike the older models built 50 years ago when they were still figuring out what frames could handle what, Smith improved upon the design so much that it won't shoot itself apart after 1000 rounds anymore. It's actually a modern gun that can stand up to modern shooting drills! Crazy concept, I know.
